WW2 USCG Chief Quartermaster Gray Coat

An excellent example of the 1940s gray uniform for officers and chief petty officers. This example started out as an officer's service coat which had the loops for the shoulder boards removed to turn it into an enlisted service coat (see photos). Nice silver bullion Chief Quartermaster rate and a silver bullion U.S. Coast Guard cuff shield.

This is a really great dress coat that's pretty clean, just the usual wear from storage and use. All buttons are good to go and in excellent condition.
